When we reached out for radio and video promoters, we were faced with dozens of them.  We vetted as many as possible.  Steve provided a few names for us to email as a reference.  We decided to dig deeper and look for people he didn't give as a reference.  We have been burned a lot by the music industry in Nashville.  We contacted as many of his clients as we could find and we received 100% positive feedback on him.  I have to tell you that we have never got 100% feedback on anyone we've worked with before or since.  We hired Steve to work our video "Shake it Like a Hillbilly" and he was better than advertised.  

He is a man of his word, he works above and beyond what he's paid to do and best of all our video stayed alive long after the campaign was officially over and he kept working it. Ultimately that video was seen by a Sony UK executive who reached out to us, signed us and gave us a songwriting and publishing deal through Sony ATV.  We just finished a tour opening for Ted Nugent in 2023 and a tour of the UK.

Steve provides documentation of everything he does.  He is never hard to reach and he cares...that's the best part.  He really cares about his work and the videos he's working.  Let me be clear here...this is not an automatic ticket to fame or big deals in Nashville.  You have to have realistic expectations of what video promotion is and does.  He put our video out all over the world and armed with that airplay we were able to use it to take the next step...which we have.  I'd say we are a Steve Baker success story but it's because we worked too.  He's great, just know you have to work just as hard as he does with what he provides you.
